Auto News & Reviews and Financial News have an established look to them - and yes, the articles are (generally) a cut above the standard fare available elsewhere. A definite North American slant in most cases, but that might just a function of the particular niche category.

It’s not a bad idea to break the usual model of one article site into a linked network of sites by channel or category. As a blogger or articleer you can sign up and spread the word in the usual way - it would look much like there are more sites to come in this network, so might be worth a check back in case something in your particular niche appears…
