Feedburner RSS stats

So, this blog, and a couple of others, each get about 40% of their RSS subscribers using Google products - this according to Feedburner’s stats panel.

Google products meaning the snappily-named Feed Reader or iGoogle, the widgetised, personalised front page, clone of Netvibes and a few others…

I did try the Feed Reader once, for the usual 8 minutes when it launched - it was very beta then, I’m sure it’s excellent now.

The Firefox bookmark option - just drag and drop it into the bookmarks toolbar, a very simple option and a browser used by the majority of visitors to this site - is down at about 12%.

Feedburner now is owned by Google.
